haven’t updated in awhile…

it’s the worst feeling in the world to love and hate someone all at the same time. and it’s hard to watch things change when all you want is for them to stay the same. it’s crazy when you want to let go, but you keep holding on, and you want to move on, but you’re stuck right where you started. when feelings come and go and you can’t decide what you want. when you have so many things to say, but you don’t know where to start.
when you want them in your life so bad, but all you can do is push them farther and farther away. it’s so hard to think back how things used to be and look at it now and realize that things are different, and they may never be the same again. you tell yourself it’s not worth it, but if it really didn’t matter, you wouldn’t spend so much time thinking about it.

The Greatest Irony of Love

loving the right person at the wrong time,
having the wrong person when the time is right
and finding out you love someone
right after that person walks out of your life.
and sometimes, you think you’re already over a person,
but when you see them smile at you,
you’ll suddenly realize that you’re just pretending to be over them
just to ease the pain of knowing that they will never be yours again.
for some, they think that letting go
is one way of expressing how much you love the person..
in my opinion, some are afraid to see the one they love
being held by someone else.
most relationships tend to fail
not because the absence of love.
love is always present.
it’s just that one was being loved too much
and the other was being loved too little.
as we all know that the heart is the center of the body
but it beats on the left.
maybe that’s the reason why the heart is not always right.
most often, we fall in love with the person we think we love
but to only discover that for them,
we are just for past times.
while the one who truly loves us
remains either a friend or a stranger.
so here’s a piece of advice:
let go when you’re hurting too much.
give up when love isn’t enough,
and move on when things are not like before.
for sure, there is someone out there who will love you even more.

that’s what I am. I wish someone would just call me beautiful. doesn’t everyone deserve that?

Law of the Garbage Truck

One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport.

We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches!

The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us.

My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean, he was really friendly.

So I asked, ‘Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!’  This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call,

He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it. And sometimes they’ll dump it on you.

Don’t take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on.

Don’t take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets. The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day.

Life’s too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so…

Love the people who treat you right. Forgive the ones who Don’t.
Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you Take it!
